1. What you need to know about certificate replacement
According to the new standard version change announcement from the 3C certification authority, enterprises need to complete the CCC certificate version change work for the new standard GB 17625.1-2022 according to the following time requirements:
1) Before June 30, 2024, the certification client can voluntarily choose the new standard or the old standard to implement certification;
2) Starting from July 1, 2024, new standards will be used to implement certification and new standard certification certificates will be issued, and old standard certification certificates will no longer be issued;
3) Products certified according to the old standards should complete the version change before the end of the first follow-up inspection after the implementation date of the new standards (i.e. July 1, 2024);
4) The replacement of all old standard certificates should be completed by June 30, 2025 at the latest. Certification certificates that have not completed the conversion after the expiration date will be suspended; certification certificates that have not completed the conversion by September 30, 2025 will be replaced. cancel; revoke;
5) For certified products that have left the factory, been put on the market before July 1, 2024, and are no longer produced, there is no need to perform certificate conversion.
2. Precautions and reminders
GB 17625.1-2022 "Electromagnetic compatibility limits Part 1: Harmonic current emission limits (equipment input current ≤16A)" is a national mandatory standard. According to the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" and "Product Quality of the People's Republic of China" According to the relevant provisions of the Law, starting from July 1, 2024, products that do not meet mandatory standards shall not be produced, sold, or imported, otherwise they may face penalties.
In order to avoid product quality risks caused by the change of old and new standards, it is recommended that enterprises pay close attention to the regulatory requirements of standard version change. Conduct thorough testing of products in accordance with new standards as soon as possible, and promptly carry out CCC certificate version changes in order to quickly adjust production plans and improve product quality.
